ExpresART

Meet the team behind the
ExpressART Workshop

We are a small team of people dedicated to working on the creation, development, delivery and promotion of different workshops aimed at both individuals and companies and institutions of all kinds.

What are we Looking to Achieve?

Our purpose is to reach the largest number of people, to have the opportunity to share the information contained in our workshops, which we consider important, interesting and of great help for the personal, emotional and professional growth of those who participate, as well as for the growth and development of different areas within companies and institutions.

How did ExpressART come about?

Initially, it was done as an experimental workshop aimed at a group of students from a university, with the aim of creating greater emotional awareness and empathy, because the group had various attitude problems and the teachers complained. However, in response to the success obtained from that event, it was decided to work hard to improve the workshop and give it a different and much broader focus. Therefore, as of 2014, it was decided to create the Therapy Theater Workshop, and in the last two years three more versions have been developed, using the same techniques, but with different approaches; one of them is ExpressART. Which is managed by our work team and addresses a broader spectrum of abilities, emotions and aptitudes, which attracts more people. Just as it can be adapted to the needs of the client, as is the case with workshops aimed at companies, educational institutions and intensive courses.

Who leads the workshop?

Currently the workshop is taught by Laura Sevilla, psychotherapist, teacher and communication specialist; who for more than ten years worked in the audiovisual media both in front of and behind the camera, also for more than nine years she worked teaching at different universities in communication sciences, psychology and pedagogy. And she currently works in his private practice giving psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, as well as giving the different workshops that we run.
